This weekend, WCU Dance and Theater Department brings the Shakespeare classic Henry V to life.

This weekend, make time for a gripping historical drama as told by the Dance and Theater majors of West Chester University.  Henry V brings to life one of Shakespeare’s most celebrated heroes in a story of leadership, courage, and transformation.

Directed by Associate Professor of Theatre Leonard Kelly, Henry V is a powerful coming-of-age story that has inspired audiences for centuries. Filled with intrigue, betrayal, and adventure, it follows a young king who must navigate political instability in England while also waging war against France. At the famous Battle of Agincourt, the 28-year-old Henry unites and rallies his rag-tag troops against a superior force and impossible odds with one of the most famous speeches in theatrical history.
